4.5 Star rating awarded by AAAT Tourism, the governing body for all the 
state motoring associations.

This is also assessed by AAA Tourism and rewards tourism operators' commitment to 
simple environmental practices resulting in a reduction of their environmental impact.

OPERATIONS

Owner-Operators, Chris & Tony have been running the B&B, without any additional staff,
since June 1998. They had no previous experience in B&B, although Tony’s trade as a 
chef and Chris’s background in accounting certainly helped!

    FINANCIAL STATEMENTS together with occupancy & source statistics, are available to
    genuinely interested parties.

    LAUNDRY Sheets and Towels are out-sourced to the local laundry in Tea Gardens.

    TRAINING Vendors are more than happy to provide training to new owners … for as
    long as is required. There’s quite a bit of “potty training” on a rural property!

    We envisage that one or two weeks will be enough to assist new owners in the use of pumps,
    irrigation, pool, spas, etc as well as instruction with booking systems, etc. Everything else
    to do with running a Bed & Breakfast is really only domestic duties, eg cooking breakfast,
    making beds, cleaning, etc.

    After the initial training period, we would still be available to assist in any way we can,
    either by telephone or by making periodic visits
    if and when required.
